Where a CRB check is required for appointment to a post with Age UK North Staffordshire, job offers are made subject to receipt of a satisfactory disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau. All disclosures now have to be at enhanced level
People who have been offered a paid position subject to a satisfactory disclosure, will be required to pay for the application for a disclosure at the time the application is made, in cash or by cheque (made out to Age UK North Staffordshire). The cost is currently £36 for an enhanced check.
Following 3 months satisfactory service with the organisation, the full cost of the disclosure will be reimbursed to the member of staff. However if the member of staff leaves the organisation in the first 6 months of service the cost of the disclosure will be deducted from the final salary payment due.
